About the Role

he Chief Operating Officer, COO, will be the main catalyst in driving those objectives along with the overall success of the organization. A successful candidate will be a sophisticated business leader with responsibilities in all aspects of the business
including revenue, sales development, creating strategic relationships, marketing, manufacturing, culture development, employee morale, and administration.

In addition to hiring, building and managing the organization and teams, the COO will develop operating procedures KPI’s, and the correct culture for accountability, growth, and entrepreneurialism. While working closely with the executive team, including the CEO and board of directors, he/she must be comfortable making tough, but consistent
decisions for the overall progression of the business. Day-to-day tasks of the COO would include anticipating issues and solutions, as well as overseeing office efficiencies and implementing improvements where necessary to ensure compliance as well as record-keeping accuracy.


Required Skills and Experience:
5-7 years of experience as a Chief Operating Officer
Ability to implement successful matrixes throughout the organization
Experience identifying, qualifying and negotiating partnerships and/or potential acquisitions.
Must have the ability to initiate proposals, negotiate contracts and close deals.
Has successfully recruited and attracted top talent; continuously trained, mentored, andcoached the management staff to ensure productivity and growth for all employees
Developed skills to effectively maintain 3rd party vendor relationships
Developed skills to implement and maintain operational procedures
Experience monitoring budgets and projections
Cannabis experience and ability to work with cultivation to monitor inventory control preferred
